When you compare this to other offerings this year like BG3, which is the same price and offers innovation and 15 times more game time, the asking price for this is a joke. The visuals are nothing special, it does suffer frame-rate drops. They could have even tried things like Robocops controls get messed up and everything is reversed for a mission ie up is down, left is right etc, or his aim is off for a mission, just to mix it up a bit.

The lack of innovation in the combat shows a lazy attempt to push out a game that lacks for what is being asked to buy it for. Your investigation leads you right into the heart of a shadowy project in an original story that takes place between RoboCop 2 and 3. The combat is fun to a point, but its not enough to carry the rest of the lacklustre game. An original story in the world of RoboCop: The city of Detroit has been hit by a series of crimes, and a new enemy is threatening the public order. If this had come out 15-20 years ago, it would be classed as a Masterpiece, but its 2023, and the game lacks in all areas except one. You revisit the same neighbourhood area 8 or 9 times in the play through, so it becomes old rather fast with the lack of diversity. The game will take about 12 hours and nearly half of that is spent out of combat walking around the same small areas, and talking to people about rather boring un-engaging topics. Developed by Terminator: Resistance studio Teyon, Rogue City is said to be the first RoboCop console game since 2003. For it's current price, I can't recommend it.
